Education: Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of California, Davis/California State University, Fresno Joint Doctoral Program

Experience and Research: In the twenty years prior to coming to Fresno State, Marianne taught in and directed private, public, and non-profit child care centers, directed Central Valley Children’s Services Network, taught at the community college and university levels, and worked as a child advocate at the local, state, and national levels. Her research interests include constructivism in adult classrooms, authentic assessment using portfolios, and early care and education workforce preparation.
