Experience and Research: Rich is a family science professional with over 35 years of successful local, regional, national and international experience in a variety of education, non-profit, business and government settings. He is the past system-wide California State University Faculty Service-Learning Scholar and previous host of "Healthy Families" on KVPT (public television for Central California). Facilitates deep learning to promote individual understanding of self and others in ways that affirm the principles of cooperation and build mutual understanding. Takes special pride in the initiation and implementation of sustainable service-learning and community engagement programs. Founder of Friends for Civic Engagement (http://friends4engagement.com/) and Executive Director of Kid's Turn of Fresno County, a program addressing the special needs of children experiencing family separation and divorce.
